Dr. Charles Brown attended Georgia Military College (Prep) and graduated with honors in 1974. He then attended Georgia College and State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Biology. While there, he was inducted into the Beta National Honorary Biology Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Academic Honor Society.
He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1983 and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Brown completed the OBGYN Residency program at the Medical College of Georgia in 1987. From 1987–1991, he served in the U.S. Army at Eisenhower Army Medical Center as Chief of the Obstetrical Section of the Department of OBGYN. He received an honorable discharge with the rank of Major in 1991 and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
Dr. Brown has been with Milledgeville OBGYN Associates since 1991. In recognition of his long-standing commitment to patient care and leadership in healthcare, he is also the recipient of the Georgia Hospital Association’s 2025 Distinguished Service Award.
Peyton Tucker, WHNP-BC, is a Milledgeville native and a proud alumna of Georgia Military College (Prep and College). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Georgia State University in 2019 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Women’s Health, from Georgia College & State University in 2025.
Peyton became a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in June 2025. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
With five years of nursing experience in pediatrics and labor and delivery, Peyton’s clinical interests include preventative healthcare and family planning.
Peyton has been with Milledgeville OBGYN Associates since 2025. Outside of the office, she is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her husband, Jacob Tucker, and their daughter.
